WM News FTO Lucile Kappi kämpft um Edelmetall

Over 1500 athletes and officials from over 100 countries are expected to take part in the IFMA Senior World Championships 2024 in the birthplace of the Olympics, Greece.

IFMA Senior World Championships 2024

Ancient Olympia, the birthplace, will play an important part in this event and muaythai, a martial art filled with ancient traditions, will travel back to the ancient time of 776BC.

The President of IFMA, Dr. Sakchye Tapsuwan, stated that this event will be historical for the IFMA Family as an Olympic organization and sport bringing the motherland, Thailand, to the birthplace of Olympia.

The President of the Greek Federation, also the Vice President of the European Muaythai Federation, Mr. Ioannis Papadopoulous stated that Greece is looking forward to welcoming the athletes from all 5 continents. The Greek National Federation is proud that IFMA has entrusted them to hold this prestigious event and with the record number of athletes and officials, this event promises to inspire generations to come.
